Can't Wait

I don't normally get excited about operating systems (unless they're my own creations). But, this is some pretty awesome news:

Better ARM SoC support is probably top of my list here as I'm not a huge fan of running such an overweight kernel like Linux on such beautiful hardware. Now, I'll be getting an OMAP4 SBC for Christmas! Man, wouldn't an ARM-based pfSense router be amazing?

Also, I have to commend the decision-makers for breaking more ties with GPL'd software. Moving to LLVM/CLang (as the default compiler) is going to benefit both projects immensely.

Hopefully, the high-end infrastructure guys will start to see FreeBSD as a more mainstream alternative (again) to their Linuxes, and improve a few more data centers.
